Speed of website is a very important factor today. Google and other search engines count that factor to determine a website position on their search engine result pages.You can test website speed in many ways. The recommended method is to test it out whenever you can and compare your results between these tests.


Fortunately, there are some tools which may help you to check out website speed completely for free

Which Loads Faster? – This is a free website which is going to show you which website loads faster easily. All you need to do is to choose your own matchup and click on “Go”. You will clearly see which website is faster on your web browser. After the “combat” it will show you which website is faster compared to another one. A very good and useful tool indeed.


Pingdom Tools – This is probably the best way to check out website speed easily. Pingdom offers three different tools with which we can check full page speed test, DNS health of hosting provider and Ping and Traceroute tool for our server. Of course, its completely free.

Firebug Tool – Free specialized tool a must-have for all website owners and developers. Not only it would show you the accurate speed of any aspect of your website, but provide you with many other tools useful for web developers. It is available for all mayor web browser, but the most advanced version is available for Mozilla Firefox. It can be a bit hard to understand for the newbies.
